Discover the World of Closed Circut Rebreathers (CCR)

Take your diving to the next level with Closed-Circuit Rebreathers (CCR)—the cutting-edge technology that’s revolutionizing underwater exploration. Unlike traditional open-circuit systems, CCRs recycle your breathing gas, allowing for longer dives, reduced gas consumption, and unmatched stealth. Whether you're an experienced diver looking to extend your bottom time or a tech enthusiast curious about silent diving, CCRs open the door to a deeper, more immersive underwater experience. Dive in and discover how rebreathers can transform the way you explore the ocean.

Beginner-Friendly
What Is a CCR Rebreather—and Why Should You Care? Curious about how to stay underwater longer and explore more? Closed-Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) are a special type of scuba gear that recycle the air you breathe, making your dives quieter, longer, and more efficient. While they might seem complex at first, CCRs open up new possibilities for adventurous divers who want to go deeper and stay out longer. Whether you’re just starting to learn or thinking about your next big diving goal, CCRs are an exciting step into the future of diving.

Redefine the Limits of Exploration with CCR Rebreathers
Step beyond the boundaries of traditional scuba and enter a world where silence, depth, and duration are redefined. Closed-Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) unlock the freedom to dive longer, deeper, and with greater stealth—perfect for those seeking the thrill of uncharted wrecks, remote caves, or untouched reefs. With every breath recycled and optimized, CCRs strip away the noise and bubbles of open-circuit diving, letting you experience the underwater world like never before. Ready to dive into the unknown?

Explore the Advantages of Closed-Circuit Rebreathers (CCR)
Closed-Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) offer a highly efficient and advanced alternative to open-circuit scuba systems. By continuously recycling exhaled gas through chemical scrubbers and precisely maintaining optimal oxygen levels, CCRs enable extended bottom times, reduced decompression obligations, and significantly lower gas usage—especially at depth. Ideal for technical, cave, and deep-diving applications, CCR technology provides greater control over dive profiles, gas mixtures, and thermal regulation, making it a preferred tool for serious explorers and scientific divers.

About Hollis Prism 2 Rebreather - Backmounted Counter Lungs

The Hollis Prism 2 is an electronic closed-circuit rebreather (eCCR) that provides a proven platform for exploring the underwater world. This advanced rebreather delivers a comfortable and efficient diving experience, allowing you to extend your bottom time and minimize your impact on the environment.

HOLLIS PRISM 2 REBREATHER

Key Features:

The Prism 2 features a unique radial scrubber design that promotes lower breathing resistance and more efficient scrubber use. The primary Heads-Down Display (HDD) uses a battery-driven sequential LED for continuous, hands-free monitoring of oxygen levels, while an independent analog secondary display provides a backup in case of battery failure.

The Prism 2's design prioritizes safety, with the oxygen supply lines and solenoid external to the breathing loop, eliminating the risk of oxygen spikes due to leaks.  The electronics and battery are also housed separately from the breathing loop for added protection.

This rebreather uses a standard 9V alkaline battery with a long life of 40 hours in 70°F water.  Backmounted counterlungs reduce drag and improve streamlining, while the waterproof magnetic on/off switch ensures reliable operation in saltwater.

Enhanced with the Petral 3 Controller:

The Prism 2 now comes with the new Petral 3 Controller, compatible with up to four Swift Transmitters for enhanced dive data management.

The Petrel 3 is the newest and greatest iteration of the Petrel
