Olga and I have been working together teaching all levels Scuba diving sense 2006. I first learned to dive at Pinnacles Dive Center and eventually reached PADI Course Director. My passion is wreck driving and technical diving. Together we've owned Pinnacles Dive Center sense 2018. I'm a Technical Dive Instructor, Public Safety Instructor, and UCI Master Investigator. We are proud parents of 3 adult daughters, 2 grand boys, and we have a 3 year old son at home. We are regularly involved in Autism charities and events to help support our son.

Another team teaching couple who love scuba diving. They regularly teach our ocean classes, Advanced education, and pool classes. They have a lifetime of experience teaching PADI & SSI. Once our students meet this dynamic duo, they always ask for them when they are ready to continue diving. When time allows they may even hoast a trip.
We've known Michael for nearly 20 years. When I was just a Divemaster I would help Michael in classes, and later we would team teach. Michael's been teaching scuba so long he witnessed the invention of sand. A passionate underwater photographer, published author, and gentleman of the world, everyone who meets Micheal becomes a friend. You'll find Michael teaching during the week and weekends in our pool or at the ocean.
Erik loves teaching scuba diving and working with people. Erik has been with us sense the beginning and is a student favorite. You'll usually find Erik teaching our weekend pool classes because during the week he is working to educate our youth and continue his own education.
Phillip has been an instructor for Pinnacles for many years. Regularly teaching during the week or weekends given his flexible schedule. He is training in scuba equipment repair expanding his technical knowledge. Phillip has faithfully walked the Native Path for over forty years, learning from, adopted, and sanctioned by Indigenous Medicine/Holy people, tribal Spiritual leaders, Wisdom keepers, and Elders from several Nations and cultures.
He is the founder of Ancestral Voice: https://ancestralvoice.org/
Randy is a PADI IDC staff instructor and SDI scuba diving instructor. Randy can teach just about every specialty PADI has, and has experience helping teach instructors. Randy has a super flexible schedule and it would not be uncommon to see him teaching scuba diving during the week or weekends. There's not a lot of instructors with Randy's experience of up north, so we're glad to have him on board to offer a wide variety of continued education options.
Ian may look familiar if you've been to our shop. Once the assistant manger you could regularly find Ian working hard around the shop. Living the scuba diver life style he's a world traveler, and will travel for several months at a time. When he's available to teach you'll usually see him in the pool teaching our new students.
In 2011 I completed my junior open water certification in Monterey. I’ve loved diving since my first time! When I moved to Puerto Rico in 2021 I began my professional journey and became an OWSI in 2022. I have been diving primarily in the Caribbean and Pacific, but I love to travel and look forward to diving in more seas! In 2024 I got more involved in the shop side of the industry. I love introducing new and returning divers to quality gear and accessories while getting them excited about the wonderful opportunities and experiences of the underwater world.

Chris loves teaching scuba diving and all his training has been at local dives sites from Monterey to Mendicino, so we know he's good in our unique and challenging conditions. A protégé of Jessica Boyd and Tom Garvy, Chris had lots of exposure working with new students before becomming a certified instructor. Chris lives out of the Stockton area, and says his love of teaching and passion for scuba diving makes the two hour commute to teach in the pool an easy one.
Some of you may recognize me from working in the Novato store I'm a graduate from Cal Poly Humboldt where I got my Open Water, Master, Rescue and Scientific diving certifications. I am currently living in New Orleans and am working towards becoming a Dive Master. I am super stoked to explore the tropical waters with our customers, I look forward to hosting many future trips with Pinnacles Dive Center and exploring the world together.

Laura worked in the shop as a new diver and is a customer favorite. All that meet Laura, like Laura. She has recently started her PADI Pro career by finishing her Divemaster course. Laura is passionate in her beliefs and fights for our rights. We're looking forward to seeing Laura more as she starts teaching Discover Scuba Diving for us.
