Shipping Policy

Overview

Thank you for shopping with Pinnacles Dive Center. This page explains how we ship orders, estimated delivery times, shipping costs, and special rules for heavy items and scuba tanks. By placing an order you agree to this Shipping Policy.

Shipping Area

We ship within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

We currently offer three delivery options:

1. Standard Shipping (Price-Based)

  • Orders are shipped anywhere within the United States.

Processing & Handling Time

  • Most orders are processed within 1 business day. Orders placed on weekends or US public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Standard Shipping (Ground)

  •  Estimated transit time: 24-72 hours after processing (typical for most contiguous US addresses).
  • Carriers: We use trusted carriers (USPS, UPS or regional carriers). Carrier selection depends on package size and destination.

Shipping Rates

  • Flat-rate shipping: $8.50 for standard ground (applies to most orders under 100 lbs).*
  • Free standard shipping: Free for orders $100 and over.

*If your order contains oversized/heavy items or special items (see below), additional fees may apply. Exact charges will be shown at checkout.

Address & Delivery Instructions

  • Please provide a complete shipping address and a reachable phone number when placing your order.
  • We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
  • If you need to change the shipping address after placing the order, contact us immediately - changes may not be possible after we hand the package to the carrier.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we will send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and carrier details. Use that tracking number to follow your package on the carrier’s website.

Delivery Issues - Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

  • If your package is marked delivered but you cannot find it, check with household members, neighbors, and around the delivery location. If still missing, contact us and we will assist with the carrier claim process.
  • If a package arrives damaged, keep the packaging and take photos of the damage. Contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can file a damage claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Shipping Delays

Occasionally shipments are delayed due to carrier issues, weather, or peak seasons. We are not liable for carrier delays, but we will proactively help track and resolve the issue when possible.

2. Pickup In Store
You may pick up your order anytime during store hours:

  • Your order will be held for 14 days from the purchase date.
  • Please bring your confirmation email and a valid ID when picking up.
  • Some oversized or restricted items may be available pickup-only.

3. Local Delivery
Local delivery is available for qualifying orders:

  • Available for customers in Novato, Petaluma, and Rohnert Park.
  • Delivery is eligible for orders of $100 or more.
  • Delivery times vary depending on location but are generally completed within 1–2 business days.
  • Someone must be present to receive the delivery.

Return & Exchange

For returns and exchanges, please review our Return Policy. In summary: we accept returns within 14 days of delivery when items are returned in their original packaging with the receipt. See the Return Policy for full details.

Do you ship outside the US?
No - currently we ship only within the United States.
How long until my order ships?
Most orders process within 1 business day. Orders placed on Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday will begin processing on Monday (or the next business day)
