About Dive Rite Nomad Ray Sidemount System

Capable of lifting up to forty-two pounds, the Ray is engineered to handle heavy steel tanks and multiple-stage or deco bottles with ease. Constructed with SuperFabric, an incredibly robust, fast-drying, and slash-resistant material, the Nomad Ray is equipped with an abrasion-resistant 'skid plate' that strategically shields wear-prone areas, ensuring it endures the toughest diving conditions.
The Nomad Ray boasts a bespoke fit for every body type, courtesy of an independently adjustable harness. Easy-to-set shoulder and waist webbing can be replaced individually if damaged or cut short. A tool-free bungee adjustment system lets you customize the fit swiftly. The quick-adjust belly band with a specially molded bungee hook offers a snug wrap around your body.
Custom-designed for the Nomad Ray, a suite of stainless steel hardware - including waist transition plates, drop-down D-rings, sliding D-rings, bungee retention slides, and a double D-ring crotch strap - offers ample attachment points for your accessories.
Inside the Ray, you'll discover three integrated weight pockets accessible through a zipper, each capable of holding up to five pounds of hard or soft weights. This design retains a low profile while offering swift trim adjustments or mission-specific weighting. The padded pocket walls provide additional comfort and protection for your back.
Designed for your convenience, the Nomad Ray features a sixteen-inch corrugated inflation hose with versatile mounting options. The hose can easily be switched between the left and right side of the wing to suit your preference.
Finally, the Nomad Ray includes two pull dumps/OPVs. One is placed inside the top left of the wing for a smooth cord routing, and the other is situated on the lower outside of the wing for easy access when using multiple cylinders or CCRs.

The ambidextrous orientation of the XT2 second stage is designed for sidemount diving. The XT2 left regulator provides the perfect hose position for the left tank, combined with our 152cm Airflex hose and a right angle adapter. The hose no longer has to wrap around the diver´s neck, where it can get caught, but passes under the arm directly into the mouth using the angled adapter.
