The DaVinci provides approximately 30 hours of dive time on a full charge with the display brightness set to 100%.Battery life can be extended by lowering the display brightness, minimizing Bluetooth use, and reducing audible alarms. Because the DaVinci features a full-color TFT display, brightness settings have the greatest influence on overall power consumption. Actual battery life may vary depending on brightness level, Bluetooth activity, alarm usage, water temperature, storage conditions, and general operating habits.
2. How does the rechargeable battery work? Can it be replaced?
The DaVinci uses a built-in rechargeable LiPoHV battery designed for exceptionally long service life.The battery is rated for more than 14,000 operating hours before reaching approximately 80% of its original capacity, making routine battery replacement unnecessary.Charging is performed using the supplied USB-C charging adapter together with a standard USB-C cable (not included).The battery is not intended to be replaced by the user.
3. How do Bluetooth synchronization and firmware updates work?The DaVinci connects wirelessly to the DiveSync App, available for both iOS and Android devices.Through the app you can:
- Transfer dive logs
- Review dive history
- Store dive records
- Install firmware updates
Whenever the computer connects to DiveSync, it automatically checks whether a newer firmware version is available. If an update exists, the app will notify you and guide you through the installation process.Before updating, ensure the computer has sufficient battery charge and follow the instructions displayed within the app.Firmware updates are released whenever improvements, optimizations, or new features become available. Keeping your firmware current ensures you benefit from the latest enhancements and the best possible performance.
4. How many gas mixes does the DaVinci support?
The DaVinci supports up to four programmable gas mixes, making it suitable for advanced recreational diving.Nitrox mixtures from 22% to 99% oxygen, as well as 100% oxygen, can be programmed according to the diver's certification and dive plan.Divers using multiple gas mixes should have the appropriate training and understand oxygen exposure limits, PPO? settings, Maximum Operating Depth (MOD), and proper gas-switching procedures.
5. Does the DaVinci support decompression diving?
The DaVinci incorporates the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm, allowing it to calculate decompression obligations whenever required by the dive profile.However, the computer is intended for recreational scuba diving. Divers should always plan dives within the limits of their certification and training.Planned decompression diving requires specialized instruction, appropriate equipment, redundant gas planning, and emergency procedures beyond the scope of recreational diving.
6. Which dive modes are available?
The DaVinci offers three operating modes:
Air: For standard recreational scuba diving using compressed air.
Nitrox: For enriched-air diving after entering the correct oxygen percentage.
Gauge: Functions strictly as a depth and timer instrument without decompression calculations. Gauge Mode is intended for divers who independently manage their dive planning and decompression procedures.
7. What safety features are included?
The DaVinci continuously monitors your dive and provides both audible and visual alerts for important conditions, including:
- Ascent rate
- Decompression status
- Maximum depth limits
- PPO? exposure
- Safety stop guidance

8. Which decompression algorithm does the DaVinci use?
The DaVinci uses the internationally recognized Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm, one of the world's most widely used decompression models.The algorithm continuously tracks inert gas absorption and release across multiple tissue compartments to calculate:
- No-Decompression Limits (NDL)
- Decompression obligations

9. Can I adjust the conservatism settings?
Yes.The DaVinci allows experienced divers to adjust the conservatism (Gradient Factor) settings, enabling decompression calculations to be tailored to personal preference and dive conditions.More conservative settings shorten no-decompression limits and generally require longer or earlier stops.Less conservative settings allow longer bottom times but reduce the overall safety margin.These adjustments should only be made by divers who fully understand their implications and have received appropriate training.10. Can the Console version be converted into a Wrist version?No.The DaVinci Wrist and DaVinci Console models are engineered as two dedicated products and are not interchangeable.The Wrist model features an integrated housing specifically designed for the wrist strap system, while the Console model is permanently designed to fit its console boot.Because the mounting systems are completely different, the Console module cannot be converted into a wrist-mounted computer, and the Wrist version cannot be installed into a console boot.Customers should therefore choose the configuration that best suits their diving style at the time of purchase.
